Paula Stroup has over 20 years in the Information Technology field for both corporate and legal environments. Her time within a large law firm provided experience in managing electronic discovery, litigation database development, assessing discovery and production protocols, participating in meet and confers, and the coordinating , collection and processing of client ESI (Electronically Stored Information). Paula‘s insight breaches the gap in communication between the technology and legal fields. She has worked with several practice groups including Litigation, Intellectual Property, Environmental and Corporate. Paula has extensive experience in ensuring defensible electronic discovery procedures are followed. This can include client interviews, documenting data architectures, managing and collecting electronic evidence, generating and testing search criteria and providing guidance during the discovery process. She is also an adjunct faculty member at St. Louis Community College instructing on the importance of electronic discovery, the FRCP (Federal Rules of Civil Procedure) changes and technology in the legal world. Paula belongs to several organizations including Women in Electronic Discovery – St. Louis Chapter, ILTA-International Legal Technology Association, Litigation Support Users Group, and Phi Theta Kappa. She has received certifications as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Dataflight Certified Software Administrator (DCSA) for Concordance as well as being fully versed in Summation.
